Yeah - that's the right solution. The robostix has a 500ma regulator on it, and the wifisitx/gumstix combination draws more than 500ma when the wifistix is transmitting, so it caused the robostix regulator to overheat and shutdown, thus resetting the gumstix. Powering both the wifistix and the robostix gets around the problem.
