I recently brought up a Gumstix with a Network-VX and Robostix board combination. I had both SSH and Web connectivity. I messed with the host-name and some other settings, and now I find that the httpd server will not start. No errors appear in the log files. Here is what happens on a start followed by a ps: # ./S50httpd start Starting httpd... gethostbyname:: Success # ps -ef PID Uid VmSize Stat Command 1 root 320 S init 2 root SWN [ksoftirqd/0] 3 root SW [watchdog/0] 4 root SW< [events/0] 5 root SW< [khelper] 6 root SW< [kthread] 20 root SW< [kblockd/0] 37 root SW [pdflush] 38 root SW [pdflush] 39 root SW< [kswapd0] 40 root SW< [aio/0] 49 root SW [mtdblockd] 56 root SWN [jffs2_gcd_mtd1] 87 root 400 S < /sbin/udevd --daemon 206 root 308 S udhcpc -b -p /var/run/udhcpc.eth0.pid -i eth0 230 root SW< [pccardd] 265 root 328 S /usr/sbin/dropbear 274 root 332 S /sbin/getty -L ttyS0 115200 vt100 275 root 312 S /sbin/syslogd -n -m 0 276 root 292 S /sbin/klogd -n 311 root 388 S /usr/sbin/mDNSResponder -f /etc/bonjour.conf -b 409 root 528 S /usr/sbin/dropbear 410 root 432 S -sh 424 root 300 R ps -ef # Any ideas on how to restore the httpd functionality?
