I have used the uOLED from 4D systems. It works very well for me. A simple function was needed to generate the se= rial IO and I connected it to one of the serial ports. You can set the baud rate, so it doesn't have to be slow for text update. I wouldn't think graphic animations are not too good on it in real time, bu= t it does have a macro buffer so you can pre-load images and then call them= from the buffer. Hi, Some of the OLED screen can be interfaced normally like any other LCD scree= ns, and some uses a parallel bus. In any case the PXA 270 can drive them, but the driver exists only for norm= al LCD screen. Some testing drivers exists for the 'bus' screen but since each OLED screen= is kind of different, I guess a general driver is unlikely to be made. You also can have a look at 4D Systems' smart LCD, look for the =B5OLEDs, t= hey can be interfaced with a simple serial communication port. On the other hand they are bloody slow, and it's still not possible to use = the embedded SPI port for other purposes. According to the spec (=B5OLED160) power consumption vary between 10 and 11= 0mA, typical 40. With contrast low and text and graphics displayed on screen, the module is = rated at 18mA. http://www.4dsystems.com.au Cheers, Julien ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
