Hi all. I can write and read GPIO's using mmap perfectly in my gumstix connex 400xm-bt. My problem is with OSCR register, when I read it always gives back the same value although the developers's manual says: "The OSCR is a 32-bit counter that increments on rising edges of the 3.6864 MHz clock. This counter can be read or written at any time." When i try to write on it, my program freezes and the gumstix crashes. I'm not using interruptions in my program, just want to initiate and capture a precise and fast count. Can i use this register freely? there is any condition to use it? How can i initialize the OSCR appropriately? Any help or idea is welcome. Thanks in advance --------------------------------- Food fight? Enjoy some healthy debate in the Yahoo!
