not any usb wifi card will do for the gumstix you need a card with an opensource driver. For an x86 with enough space just about any would do with ndiswrapper being a fall back. For a non-x86 architecture this becomes null and void. It could still theoretically be done but too hard for me. You'd need to emulate an x86 (I don't think there is enough resources) I mentioned not too long ago what D-Link I had partnumber and version info. It had a chipset that worked with the rt2570 driver.
