I'm somewhat new to linux/gcc based software development and am having a problem compiling the C++ Hello World example after setting it up as per the instructions on http://docwiki.gumstix.org/Sample code/Cpp/Hello World The C version compiles with no errors, but with the C++ I get the following output: rm -f .depend /usr/bin/g++ -M hello.cpp >> .depend /usr.bin/g++ -Os -march=armv5te -mtune=xscale -Wa, -mcpu=xscale -c -o hellow.o hello.cpp hello.cpp:1: error: bad value (armv5te) for -march= switch hello.cpp:1: error: bad value (xscale) for -mtune= switch make: *** [hello.o] Error 1 I don't have enough experience with the gcc toolchain to figure out what is going wrong. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. |
