Hi all, I'm still trying to make the gumstix be recognized as a USB key. After searching the mailing-list, and documented myself, I found the following usefull pages : http://docwiki.gumstix.org/Kernel_programming http://www.linux-usb.org/gadget/file_storage.html http://docwiki.gumstix.org/Flashing_the_Gumstix I've also been encouraged by this message : http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=14597219 But there are 2 remaining problems : 1- Linux (currently I'm on an ubuntu edgy eft up-to-date) rightly detects the gumstix as a SCSI flash drive with a FAT32 partition, but does not automount it ! 2- With Windows XP it's worse : after several long long minutes of configuration, it tells me my usb storage drive is ready, but : 2.1 It does not appear in the disk management interface 2.2 When clicking on "properties" in the peripheral list, it tells the disk cannot be read. Do you manage to make automount work on linux with your gumstix using g_file_storage ? Does anyone know something about this interoperability problem on windows ? Any help would be great !
