Dave, I unplugged everything and now I have set-up the gumstix+robostix, serial converter and the acroname RS232. When I try to log into the gumstix it hangs. I do ./kermit -l /dev/ttyUSB0 (just as before) do all the set commands and connect. Then I plug the gumstix to power and it just hangs here ... (/home/cesar/Desktop/kermit/) C-Kermit>connect Connecting to /dev/ttyUSB0, speed 115200 Escape character: Ctrl-\ (ASCII 28, FS): enabled Type the escape character followed by C to get back, or followed by ? to see other options. ---------------------------------------------------- What seems to be the problem? I have triple checked all the connections and they were just like before. I did a dmesg and the USB to serial is there at ttyUSB0.
