However, check out the footnotes on pages 20-22... There are actually several levels of register 'masking' going on. I don't think this is my poblem, though, since I can't change LCR at all. I think this means one of two things: 1.) I'm sending incorrect signals to the device 2.) Reding LCR return 0x00, so therefore the general registers are inaccesible, including LCR. I suspect (1), since I haven't been able to change any registers yet, and a hard reset does not result in register reads returning the defaults that are specified int he datasheet. I'll poke around with debug, and tell you what I find; off the list unless people are interested in using this thing later on. Adam |
