[Gumstix-users] Industrial Application and Expected Uptime

Hi Gumstix

We are considering using the basix gumstix with breakout board in an
industrial application because it suits our requirements perfectly (just
about, we will require an external 16bit ADC). Has any test been performed
in industrial environments and conditions? i.e temperature -5 to 55 degrees
C, EMC testing, etc?

The other consideration is the expected uptime, we require the unit to have
an uptime of about 1 year in a remote location. Is this expectation possibl=
e
and what are the stable operational times that other users have experienced=
?
