Hi, try to create a file 'ifcfg-usb0' in Your's '/etc/sysconfig/network/' directory on SUSE side and fill the file with the following: STARTMODE=hotplug DEVICE=usb0 ONBOOT=no BOOTPROTO=static IPADDR=10.0.0.1 NETMASK=255.255.255.0 This should bring up hotplug connection when the GumStix is plugged in. On the GumStix side You can type something like this: ifconfig usb0 10.0.0.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 up All of this should set up SUSE2GumStix network with static IP adresses. If You want permanent usb0 interface on GumStix side just rewrite '/etc/network/interfaces' file. Cheers, Grzegorz. Darren Gibbs wrote: > Howdy, > > I'm running SUSE 10.0.
