I'm running pppd on a Mac over the BT serial device mentioned by Craig plus: On the mac: 1. Setup rfcomm device named foo with the GUI as described by Craig. 2. Run pppd over this device to dund on the gumstix. pppd was either native on the mac or an easy compile. mac% cat /etc/options /dev/cu.foo 192.168.3.2:192.168.3.1 connect /etc/ppp/ppp-up idle 500 demand 115200 mac% cat ppp-up #!/bin/sh expect -f /etc/ppp/foo epi% cat /etc/ppp/foo exit (the funky startup script is to make demand happy ) mac% pppd mac% ping 192.168.3.1 pppd will negotiate with dund when a packet is seen on the interface. On the gumstix: default dund with pand turned off. It would probably make more sense to initiate the connection from the gumstix, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet.
