Ok, I've tried a handful of options here, and nothing seems to reliably work right any more. I think sf.net is determined to get money from you to allow you access to the open source stuff which people have hosted on their site. I give them another 3 months of survival time before every project migrates off there if they keep that up. Anyway, in the meantime, I need to come up with a solution here. I think possibly the best option I can think of is a torrent server which has all these tarballs on it, then just stick a URL to the torrent in the buildroot makefiles. Downside is then firewalling becomes much more of an issue. I don't really want to have to host HTTP downloads of hundreds of giant tarballs though... Any thoughts folks? C |
