Is there any way to turn off the "Start Project Dialog", or modify its behavior? I usually leave the timer off when I'm not doing paying work, and I find that having an always-on-top dialog pop up every few minutes is annoying. Also, when I do want to take its advice and start the timer for a project, the project I want is not available in the pull- down menu of the Start Project Dialog (since it lists only top-level items and I'm usually working on a nested subtask). So I have to cancel anyway and find the main window. A Gnome notification-area icon might be a nice way to go here. But for now, I'd just like an option to turn off the popups. I'm using Toshio's RPM version of gnotime 2.2.1 on Fedora Core 2. Bng -- Boris Goldowsky <bo...@al...> |
