Hi all, I've played around a bit and finally managed to correctly dump all photo thumbnails uploaded by iTunes onto my iPod nano. Did you know that iTunes uses negative padding to indicate that a picture was truncated on the left or the top? And oversized width/height indications (larger than img_info->width/height) to indicate truncation on the right or bottom? ... Anyway, CVS is down once more, so I can't even make a patch. I've attached the changed file in it's entirety. Also, yesterday I've added (activated -- most of the code was already there) a photo dump feature in tests/test-photo.c: tests/test-photos dump <mountpoint> <output_dir> Snapshot of libgpod is again at gtkpod.org/stuff/ Feedback is appreciated, in particular on how well it's working on non-nanos. Cheers, JCS. |
