Are those files in your CVS checkout? They should be. When the only files for the module were gpod.py and _gpod.so, they were installed directly in site-packages. Can you check out a fresh copy from CVS and run: $ ./autogen.sh --with-python; make; make DESTDIR=/tmp/libgpod install And then check /tmp/libgpod to see what gets installed. If you don't have the other .py{,c,o} files from above, there's something broken. > Heh.
