I am trying to install my own application on my macbook. I pulled from darcs, but when I ran a runhaskell Setup configure --user --prefix=$HOME it complained about some missing dependencies: cairo glib gtk and svgcairo. If I comment these out from the .cabal file, then it configures OK, but the build fails because it can't find a module (Cairo.SVG) - it is a member of package svgcairo which is hidden. If I try to do a cabal install svgcairo, it complains that there is no such package. But I can compile the program OK with ghc --make, so the modules are definitely there. -- Colin Adams Preston Lancashire |
