I can't recall anything just freezing like this...most things were always successful without ports. I agree ports make it much easier to maintain software, but this product I'm trying to use (livesupport) wants to compile gstreamer itself, not use one already on the system. The only reason I tried building gstreamer on it's own is to try it without their building process. This showed me if it was a problem with the way they build it, or if it doesn't build period with the source. Thanks -Mark |
