I'm a recent Ubuntu convert, so forgive my greenness. I think from below you are asking me to run a controlled experiment using the xdg-email component outside of gscan2pdf. Yes? If I wanted to try this with a file that is at this location: /home/kschiff/Documents/IntelligentCalc.xls Can you give me the exact command that I would put into terminal to try this? For evolution, the email is created with (where $pdf is the name of the PDF file). xdg-email --attach $pdf 'x\@y' Please try this (including a full path - that "/" -> "%2F" conversion looks strange). Either this is not working, or the filesystem is not flushing the PDF write before evolution reads it. |
