Dave, While I'm not an RH expert, I would try searching for something like a gnome-vfs2-dev RPM. On debian this is called libgnomevfs2-dev, but I know that RH is different :-) Remember that the fact that gramps came from an RPM only means that it had the dependencies for _running_ gramps, not necessarily for _building_ it. Usually, -dev packages are only useful for building things and are not needed for runtime. Since you're building it now you will need the -dev package. Also, trying to forsee similar troubles, you may need to get -dev packages for pygtk and gnome-python. Don, is there anything else needed for a RH9 and what is it called?
