If update is lazy, like John wrote and Benny confirmed, it may indeed be more like a cache thing, and if the cache is small, Gramps checking more grouped lines the lower the scroll thumb goes. I think I'll skip that one, because it's standard ubuntu (unity), and I like to try those ppa's again. I noticed that one of them is mentioned in the ubuntu 14.04 gnome release notes, so there's more people working with it. regards, Enno |
