> Shall I open a bug? Maybe we should review all our dialogs from this standpoint, maybe as part of the usability GEPS? I commited some fixes provided by users since last month... The problem is that I did not have all these "expand" problems on dialogs! Yes, please, commit fix for any ugly dialog. So, how to review if we do not know the cause? I suppose it is related to gtk version or screen resolution? Whatever expand value (true/false) it is properly displayed with gtk+ 3.6. I just see the common size issues around Gtk label (wrap, pango style, etc ..) If I use glade editor for fixing any .glade dialog, then it rewrites the file, and it becomes hard to properly review changes. :( The problem is that it seems by default, we have: "<property name="wrap">True</property>" on GtkLabel. To remove this type of line, makes widgets more "compact" and maybe also avoid some expansions. But there is a "size/screen/resolution" variable on this equation, making tests more difficult. On the other hand, dialogs can be really different. eg, there is some empty (no text) GtkLabel into dialog.glade (missing dialog)! Sure, we can remove unused widgets and expansion, but there was no major reviews since Glade to GtkBuilder migration. So, maybe this could be done on master?
