Hi fellow developers, please put on your user cap, and try out master --- compare its behaviour in two of my commits -- [3999cd] and the most recent one -- [b770de] or later. With the older one, [3999cd], if you try to enter an invalid date in the date editor, e.g., 2013-02-29, the date will be converted to text mode upon the dialog close, and, if you open the date editor from the event editor, the date will become pink there to show it's not a valid date. With the current one [b770de], whenever you try to enter an invalid date in the date editor, the OK button is disabled, until you change it to a valid date --- by entering the correct fields or switching to text mode yourself. Is the newer one better, should I revert to the old one, or should I do something else completely? please comment here or on the bug. V |
