To just ignore it is not a fair comment. There are many people around the world who take their religion very seriously. I have asked some local members of the church and the say the information on the LDS tab is specific to the church, therefore I can see no reason to make it visible by default. Having it as an option, as it used to be in preferences would be a good solution. Gramps is becoming more widely used, (refer to the translated languages) and many of these countries do not have an LDS presence.
