Hi, I'm trying to figure out the best way to communicate with a non-technical source about what information I already have and what I need. I'm using GRAMPS 3.4.2-1 on Windows. Basically, I'd like to tell my source, "Here are all of the people in your history who I already know about, can you help me fill in the blanks?" I'd like to include her direct ancestors as well as the complete tree of other relations for her ancestry -- cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. I'd be happy with either graphical or textual format as a PDF. What I can't figure out is which plugin, report or combination thereof gets me this information. The Relationship Graph is similar to what I need (especially after following the "Howto: Make a relationship chart"), but not all of the people are included. Same goes for the Detailed Ancestor Report and Family Lines report. For this particular scenario, the tree I'd like to report on includes only 30 or so people. However, I'd like to figure out how to do this in general, because I keep running into the same question as I meet new people in my extended family. I appreciate the help. I feel like I must be missing something obvious. KEN -- Kenneth J. Pronovici <pro...@ie...> http://www.cedar-solutions.com/ |
