Hi Doug are you using graphviz or ghostscript to produce the pdf? I've just tried both ways, and each correctly produced an A3 pdf (running Gramps 3.4.2-1 on Kubuntu 12.10). It seems strange that this is occuring on your system, as I have often made relationship graphs into pdf files in various paper sizes, and never seen the problem you describe. If there is a problem with your installation, perhaps trying the other way of making a pdf may help troubleshoot what is amiss. In your other post, you mention having difficulty printing from Inkscape, which may be another indication that something is broken somewhere.
