Hello devs I just tried compiling trunk and got a load of errors from the Makefiles when running autogen.sh & make. For example: src/DateHandler/Makefile.am:9: `pkgdatadir' is not a legitimate directory for `PYTHON' This seems to be the case for all the make files. The problem seems to be related to a change in behaviour of automake variables in version 1.11.2 which recently became the current version in Debian testing, so if your distribution updates to 1.11.2 then I expect you will see this behaviour too. Do we have any automake experts? Can't say I know enough about automake to know what needs changing in the makefiles. Gary |
