Hi, I added some source filter rules generated by Helge and an other one for matching filtered repositories via Source filter edition. They should help users to make advanced combinaisons of rules. They work as expected, if you think this could be improved, they are under SVN (3.3/trunk): http://www.gramps-project.org/bugs/view.php?id=4698 The logic is the same as some others rules, and we tested them before commit. Tests are welcome, and still need to test installation/translation process. About the subject of this thread and feature request for filter rules, what about the regex matching ? * http://www.gramps-project.org/bugs/view.php?id=759 * http://www.gramps-project.org/bugs/view.php?id=3974 Sure, regex is for advanced users. So, I suppose regex support was added on filter rules and it was not 'consistent' during developpement, was it ? I do not know if we need to make a GEPS for listing all part of code with regex, but it seems there is some minor issues with regex on current code (filter rules, GeneWeb import, localized Date handlers, etc ...) I guess regex wizards (do not need to know python) could naturaly fix some of them ? Date: Mardi 3 mai 2011, 17h57 2011/3/24 Peter Landgren <pet...@te...> Hi, I'm trying to use the filter: People having notes containing <substring> But it seems to work only for notes in the person level, not on a note in a death event for that person. Is this correct? If so, how shall I do to find persons with certain strings in a note for their death event or some other event? I can only assume you should do a feature request for more note search filters, so you can search for a note in an event, and then couple the different filters.
