Don't get discouraged now if nobody jumps on it immediately. Also, know that adding some printed lines to reports is not too hard even for a non-programmer (in my opinion at least). Eg, plugins/IndivComplete.py contains the code for the individual complete report. If you search on write_report, you will find the function that writes the report out. If you now change this method, to add lines to print the researcher, like this: def write_report(self): plist = self.database.get_person_handles(sort_handles=True) if self.filter: ind_list = self.filter.apply(self.database, plist) else: ind_list = plist for count, person_handle in enumerate(ind_list): self.person = self.database.get_person_from_handle( person_handle) self.write_person(count) owner = self.database.get_researcher() self.doc.start_paragraph("IDS-Title") self.doc.write_text('Researcher') self.doc.end_paragraph() self.doc.start_paragraph("IDS-Normal") self.doc.write_text(owner.get_name()) self.doc.end_paragraph() So the first new line is the line starting with owner = ... Then the researcher will be printed. This code should be very readable, you start a paragraph to add a title element (IDS-Title is a style property defined at the beginning of the report, it is what you can change in the report dialog). Here I just print the researcheer name, if you want to print more, you can see the available methods in our API: http://www.gramps-project.org/docs/gen/gen_lib.html#module-gen.lib.researcher If you safe the file after edit, you can start Gramps, and the researcher should just show. So, I hope to show like this that doing small changes in Gramps is actually not that hard, as the code is very readable.
