I just found out about bug 0004774 and have added a comment. Basically, the FilteredReport addon adds a new output format (Enhanced ODF). I call it enhanced because it adds functionality to the ODF class, not the ODF format itself (as it looked like some people might have thought). This output format SHOULD ONLY be used with FilteredReport and no other addons. In addition to the ODF class, FilteredReport comes with other "enhanced" classes to provide the functionality needed for the addon to work that doesn't currently exist in the core code. I've modified the README so that starting with the next version, it will read that ODF Enhanced is only for FilteredReport. If anybody knows of an easy way to tell an output format that it should only be shown in the menu for specific addons, let me know. I didn't think about the part where adding the new output format would show it for every addon (hence another good reason this addon is labeled for Developers or Expert users).
