[Gramps-users] Marriage contract or settlement

Hi,
can somebody explain what is the difference between these to event 
types? Also do you record it as a family event or an event for the 
person involved (usually groom, bride, father of groom and father of 
bride)? So far I didn't record it as a family event as it was signed 
before the marriage. What do you think?
