Yes, but your case seems to be a special case! We are trying to match descendants of a common ancestor. With half relation, this could be the "real" ancestor or the "half" ancestor. I suppose this will work with DescendantsFamiliesOf a distant ancestor, right ? Anyway, I will try to reproduce your issue with last filter rules, and last relationships module (they have been improved on Gramps 3.2.5), maybe this has been fixed ?
