2010/11/21 Jérôme <rom...@ya...> > > Try "Unmarried" ? > > see gen/lib/familyreltype.py > > Thank you Jérôme. I think I understand the functioning of couples in Gramps software . In fact, any couple is considered married (Gedcom tag : MARR). In interpreting the GEDCOM format, I thought that the unmarried were coded as an event (Gedcom tag : EVEN). 0 @F1087@ FAM 1 HUSB @I1817@ 1 WIFE @I1800@ 1 MARR Y --> Stange ! 2 TYPE Civil Union --> for PACS 1 NCHI 0 0 @F1088@ FAM 1 HUSB @I1821@ 1 WIFE @I1824@ 1 MARR Y --> Stange ! 2 TYPE Unmarried --> for Common-law couples 1 NCHI 0 It is the only way I found to correspond with the form "Family", "Relationship Information" / "Type". Anyone can confirm? 2010/11/22 Benny Malengier <ben...@gm...> > > Jerome, this is the gramps _users_ list.
