Maybe not related with the above mentioned topic... It is a possible illustration of mentioned topic ! ;) Gramps uses 'maa' as short name for 'maart', see month list on date selector. But to write 'maa' is parsed as textual date (red field). 'mrt' is the value provided by month_to_int = GrampsLocale.month_to_int Agreed, not a bug, just a way to handle this short month. Date selector and date formats are able to display 'maa' but user cannot write 'maa'. Instead, short name set by OS/python is active ('mrt'). Making tests on available locales (locale -a), I noted this difference on Date_nl.py. If you want to be able to parse 'maa' : + month_to_int[u"maa"] = 3 or if you want to use 'mrt' on short month list : - short_months = ( u"", u"jan", u"feb", u"maa", u"apr", u"mei", + short_months = ( u"", u"jan", u"feb", u"mrt", u"apr", u"mei", Jérôme --- En date de : Dim 4.4.10, Frederik De Richter <fre...@go...> a écrit : De: Frederik De Richter <fre...@go...> Objet: Re: [Gramps-devel] dutch short months À: gra...@li...
