Duncan, The new config system checks to see if you have a corrupted .ini file. As you are using trunk, you might have an older .ini file. This won't happen for regular users as we have an upgrade path from 3.1 to 3.2, but we don't take care of intermediate changes in trunk. On the other hand, here could be an error in geoview. To test, just delete ~/.gramps/gramps32.ini and see if issue goes away. If not, that is a geoview issue, and we should file a bug.
