Hello, I was maintaining my genealogical research on Ancestry.com, and then I found GRAMPS. It's been a while now I've been using GRAMPS, and I'd like to know whether the following is possible :-) Ancestry.com automatically created IDs in the form X%10d, while my new records have X%4d. Is there any way to give these records new IDs, matching the GRAMPS format? No, the "Reorder GRAMPS IDs" plugin doesn't work :/ Having shorter (well, coherent at least) IDs would be better for me, so that I can easily use them also for cataloguing documents :-) Thanks for any help, David -- .
