Hi Brian, May be I'm wrong. But so far I found, for the 'matches filter' rules for sources etc. there is a restriction to use 'before defined source-filters' only. E.g.: the rule "Sources matching the <filter>" provides predefined filters for Sources only, the rule "Places matching the <filter>" provides predefined filters for Places only. etc. All custom filters are always filtered by their "Item Group" (source or place or etc.) The only filter which is always available concerns notes ("... having notes containing ..."). But I prefer to use the information already available in the database instead to create new information as notes. May be, it's also a way to provide all user filters without such a restriction every time.
