Some notes on Translation of GeoView/HrmlView as it now is in POTFILES.in: 1. GeoView: 1.1 "Person" translation works fine, but maybe some less zoom 1.2 "Family" does not workat all, gives me this error in both English and Swedish: ERROR .: Unhandled exception Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/peter/svn/GRAMPSTRUNK/trunk/src/DataViews/GeoView.py", line 728, in family_places self.geo_places(self.displaytype) File "/home/peter/svn/GRAMPSTRUNK/trunk/src/DataViews/GeoView.py", line 744, in geo_places self.createMapstraction(displaytype) File "/home/peter/svn/GRAMPSTRUNK/trunk/src/DataViews/GeoView.py", line 1149, in createMapstraction self.createMapstractionFamily(self.dbstate) File "/home/peter/svn/GRAMPSTRUNK/trunk/src/DataViews/GeoView.py", line 1523, in createMapstractionFamily self.createPersonMarkers(db,father, comment) File "/home/peter/svn/GRAMPSTRUNK/trunk/src/DataViews/GeoView.py", line 1333, in createPersonMarkers 'comment': comment} ValueError: unsupported format character ':' (0x3a) at index 11 Tried to figure out why, but no luck so far. 1.3 "Event" Only some strings are shown translated even if they are in the sv.po file and translated there: "All events in ..." is shown OK but none of the nothers "There are ..." and "You have ...". Seems to be very strange? 1.4 "All places" Same type of comment as for "Event" 1.5 In the list of places without coordinates Place is not in a translate string. What does NB stand for in this list headline? 2. HtmlView: This string on the first page: Type an webpage address at the top, and hit the execute button to load a webpage in this page For example: http://gramps-project.org is shown as after translation: Skriv in en websideadress ovan och tryck pÃ¥ verkställknappen för att ladda en webbsida pÃ¥ denna sida Till exempel: http://gramps-project.org Should be: Skriv in en websideadress ovan och tryck på verkställknappen för att ladda en webbsida på denna sida Till exempel: http://gramps-project.org Some problem with the coding and new line before http. Seems to be the only string with this behavior. Serge, have you get my e-mails? I always get an error when I send to you except once. /Peter |
