(BTW, anyone else get an influx of GRAMPS mail tonight? Looks like a floodgate opened up somewhere with a weeks' worth of mail. Not certain if the problem was on Google's end or somewhere else.) I was playing around with NarrativeWeb on trunk recently, and I find we've lost some ground. I wanted to know if there are changes in-progress by anyone, or maybe work done in gramps30 wasn't brought forward to trunk? Some obvious things I noticed: 1) The styles we have are nowhere near as rich or complete in trunk as they are in gramps30. 2) Some colour changes to the ancestor tree make it somewhat less appealing in trunk. (Subjective of course...this is just my opinion.) 3) Addition of a logo (and link?) at the bottom of every NarrativeWeb page for 3rd-party HTML/CSS validation. Can anyone comment on these items? ------------------------------------- On a different topic, but also related to NarrativeWeb, I made a change to display some people's picture in the ancestor tree. This change is only checked into trunk, since it is a new feature and not a bug fix. Because of the other changes listed above in this e-mail, I didn't want to publish my web pages using trunk, so I made the same ancestor photo changes to gramps30. (My own copy, not checked into SVN.) But if you regularly use NarrativeWeb, please take a look and comment on the ancestor tree example here: http://charette.no-ip.com:1234/Charette/ppl/u/s/USS4HDBRNRPM07E2T3.html These changes look somewhat different in trunk due to items #1 and #2 above.
