Sorry, I'm lost. I don't think I've ever run across a .deb file that I couldn't install in Ubuntu. So the .deb files that James Treacy creates cannot be installed in Ubuntu? Should I go back to creating the .deb file that we put on the SourceForge download page, like I did for the past few 2.2.x maintenance releases? BTW, when I look at Synaptic, the most recent GRAMPS available is 2.2.8-1ubuntu2. Anyone know if we need to contact someone, or upload something somewhere to get at the very least 2.2.10 to show up?
