Since I do have 2.2.10 installed now, I am getting a different error message: /home/user> sudo apt-get install gramps Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done gramps is already the newest version. You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these: The following packages have unmet dependencies: gramps: Depends: yelp but it is not installable E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution). Me again: So, I went ahead and uninstalled GRAMPS so I could get the original error message...here is what it is: /home/user> sudo apt-get install gramps Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done Package gramps is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source E: Package gramps has no installation candidate Does this help?
