Doing a one name study, I have many of these. To start with you do know, in most cases, the last name of the father. I use this marking for unknown people. "(?)" for unknown given names and "(Winfrey)" for last names of females where I don't know the maiden name. So, in your case I would have (?) Winfrey for the father and (?) (Winfrey) for the mother.
