Next time remember to mention which version of GRAMPS you're using (probably 2.2.7, look under 'Help > About' in most software for the version number) and what your operating system is (Ubuntu Linux for you). The answer: type define:svn ...into google and it'll give you some definitions. In this case it refers to a piece of software, Subversion ('sub'+'version') used for managing unstable and unreleased software. If someone has 'committed' something to SVN they have added that piece of code. Next time the software is release, in this case that will probably be a bugfix release version 2.2.9 (second major release, second version, ninth bugfix release). Then you'll have the fixed version. Of course it's possible for you to run the SVN version but you have to do a bit of work first - I don't suggest trying it. Wait for 2.2.9 But don't worry about that bug - it's a false alarm and your data is working fine even when that warning shows. Duncan |
