Custom command should me something like: cat > filename; do_something_on_the_filename filename where filename is something you choose, and do_something_on_the_filename is whatever program you want to run on it. You can use any version control system or just copy the file elsewhere, it's up to you. Without the command, the XML output is piped into the empty pipe, hence the same message. I suppose we could catch this and prevent gramps from doing anything if command field is empty. I assume it is empty, or did you put something in?
