One problem is that you could never get the timezone right; it >really should be in a formatted <TimeStamp> field so it can be read by a >program and not stuck in the part that can only be read by a human. It is already there - my problem is, that Google Earth cannot show this property of the trackpoint to the user. Google Earth uses it only for its display of the time line, but I couldn't find an easy way to get the time stamp of a single point without guessing around the time line. Just clicking the trackpoint and see the time stamp would be much easier. But maybe I am just blind and Google Earth (newest version: 4.0.2737) can show this information? I really tried hard, but may be I missed something - tell me, if I am wrong. >It's >best to leave points turned on during (so you get the little triangles) >and then examine the timestamp on the associated points. I have the points turned on, I can right-click on one, select properties, but I only get Lat/Lon / Description / Color / Look At / Altutide - is there a way to get the timestamp? - I would be fully satisfied.
