I tried to install gpsbabel-1.1.1_beta01172003 on MacOS X 10.1.5 (Built 5S66). There were no isnatll informations in the README so i tried to >make I got the error message cc -c -g -Icoldsync gpx.c -o gpx.o gpx.c:23: header file 'expat.h' not found gpx.c:46: undefined type, found `XML_Parser' gpx.c:456: undefined type, found `XML_Char' cpp-precomp: warning: errors during smart preprocessing, retrying in basic mode make: *** [gpx.o] Error 1 The README says If you get errors about expat.h being missing, you must either edit the Makefile to tell the compiler where it is or install it in a sensible place. I'm really willing to do so, but I neither know what to write in the makefile nor know a >>sensible<< place could be. Could please anyone tell me? Wouldn't it be more useful to include expat.h in the gpsbabel package? Thanks hs |
