Gnofin 0.8.4 includes a translation to Brazilian Portuguese, thanks to Daniel Lobato. Michel Piguel also sent in a update to the French translation.
Gnofin 0.8.1 has been released. This is primarily a
bug fix release.
Despite the recent scarcity of releases, development of
Gnofin is proceeding. A new re-implementation of much
of the code base is underway. This should prove to allow
Gnofin to grow far beyond its current capabilities.
However, I still plan to maintain the 0.8.X series, starting
with fixing a number of outstanding bugs. Expect a 0.8.1
release very soon.
I am temporarily leaving development of Gnofin to pursue
volunteer work in Cameroon, Africa. I will be gone for the
next 4 months. I am leaving Gnofin in the capable hands
of Luc Saillard <hcl@users.sourceforge.net>. Please direct
any questions, bug reports, or comments to him.
Thanks,
Darin
This is the new stable release of Gnofin. It includes some
minor fixes and improvements over 0.7.10.
This release includes many bug fixes, enhancements, and
new features. Users are strongly encouraged to upgrade.
If all goes well, this will become Gnofin 0.8.0.
It turns out that Gnofin 0.7.7 does not behave
well if the LANG (or LC_ALL) environment variable
is not set.
If you live in the US and are running the bash
shell (the default command shell under many
distributions of Linux), you can simply type
the following to get gnofin running correctly.
export LC_ALL=en_US
gnofin
