hi,to my understanding, the base freq'is the main carrier, while the beat freq'is divided in two auto',my question is :if i want that one side will carry 8 hz beat freq' and the other side 5 hz beat freq',thus creating a phi ratio ,is it possible?thanks for replying, all the best

Your understanding of the base=main carrier and beat is the division as modulation is correct.

The brain mixes the two frequencies of the beat split inside the brain, not the headphone. I have played with just this kind of thing and find that if I use two Binarual Beats voices as follows: one = a low-ish base with beat of 5 and two = a somewhat higher base with a beat of 8 - this gives the effect.

If you could "split the beat" into one side being 8 high and the other being 5 low it would just form a base that is slightly higher with a beat of 13. ((8 + 5) = 13) The brain doesn't know where the original carrier is because the original carrier is lost due to the "modulation" generator method.

    Hope this helps
