Hi, I've attached a patch to all makefile.linux files which: -defines GL_X86 when USE_X86 is set, this will later be used to make all asm in the code conditional on this (including cpuid stuff) -only build cpuid when USE_X86 is set -remove CPU replace with OPTFLAGS, modern gcc's don't like -mcpu, this is much more generic. -DEBUG now only enables then DEBUG defines, OPTFLAGS should be set to match. -don't default OPTFLAGS to -mcpu=pentium unless USE_X86 is set. I plan to add the -DGL_X86 to Makefile.* as well. The other changes can be left linux only, since all the other Makefile.* 's are x86 only. Once this is done and you're ok I'll commit this to CVS. Let me know if you're ok with these changes, and if not how you would like to see them implemented, this is a first step towards supporting other archs. Regards, Hans |
