Okay, I did a quick test run with three different printers (CP-200, 
CP780, and CP-100) and all three printed back-to-back successfully when 
printing was invoked on the command line.

I did find a bug in the spooler -- the bug is serious enough that I 
don't see how you could have printed anything at all, actually.

I'll retest them via the CUPS chain.
